The Assignment

When Mäklahus, a real estate agency with high demands on digital presence and technical stability, needed a new partner for technical operations and development, they turned to us. Their requirements were twofold: to ensure the continued operation and maintenance of their existing website, as well as to create an entirely new web solution from scratch.

Taking Over Technical Operations

We began the assignment by taking full technical responsibility for Mäklahus’s digital environment.
This included server migration from their previous PHP-based solution to a new stable and scalable infrastructure, as well as the implementation of ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and support to ensure secure and future-proof operations.

Development of a New Web Platform

At the same time, a new development project was initiated with the goal of creating a fast, modern, and flexible web platform.
After close dialogue with Mäklahus, we settled on a tech stack consisting of React, Tailwind CSS, and Vite, which enables high performance, easy future development, and scalability.

Integration with Vitec

A key part of the project is the deep integration with Vitec, the business-critical broker system used for listing properties, offices, and brokers.
The integration requires advanced API implementation and real-time synchronization of data between Vitec and the new site – something that ensures all content remains updated in real time.

Ongoing Development and Next Steps

The project is currently in an active development phase, focusing on design, component development, Vitec integration, and testing ahead of launch.
The new website is planned to launch in the fall of 2025 and will give Mäklahus a modern digital presence built for long-term growth.
